Mock up of Magazine Front Cover

This is our mock up for our magazine front cover, seeing as i was in charge of editing and combining the teaser trailer, ellie and Grace were in charge of creating our ancillary products. We will choose the one we think looks the most professional for our final ancillary cover. We decided on this mid shot of our main character and will be using this for our final magazine front cover too, we decided on this one because it shows the gun and suggests the genre but also there is power behind the directness of the character towards the audience. The fonts they used were from dafont.com and they tested the possible fonts from our font test to see which works best. They used Photoshop to design this cover and used this task as a practice for when we come to produce our final front cover. I like the use of the arrow becauseof the magazine title, however next time I think we need to experiment with its placement. The use of graffiti like writing is used as a connotation of the youth culture that are a convention within this genre. Overall I am pleased with the mock up and will be using a similar level of hue and saturation to full the image like I have here to create this sense of hardship and city life.
